The Lakefront Deck



The Driftwood features a wonderful private deck facing the lake perfect to enjoy all day or evening long! By May, 2012 there will be a nice patio table with 6 chairs on this deck.

The Dock

By May 2012 there will be a brand new dock as well, WOW!

The Driftwood is currently undergoing an extensive renovation that will be complete by May 2012. Some inside photos are available now, but there will be more, and the owners will be adding the finishing touches to make this cottage an comfortable haven. Here are photos of the areas that are near completion and descriptions of how it will look.

Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen which includes stove,
a new fridge, toaster, coffee maker, all pots, pans, dishes,
and utensils. There is also a convenient eating bar with stools to seat 4 people comfortably.

The kitchen cabinets and walls are newly painted. There is new arborite, backsplash and lovely new laminate flooring that looks like driftwood.

The Living Room

The living room is right beside the kitchen with great lake views, comfortable furniture and a wood burning rock fireplace to cozy up beside in the
spring and fall. There is a TV with cable service and a DVD player in this room. The ceiling is white with wood beams giving a bright but cottage feel.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The sleeping arrangements are great! There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, one with a queen size bed and the other with a double bed. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds as well as a double/twin bunk bed set in the main area.

The main bath is on the upper floor with a shower, toilet and sink.
The newly renovated bathroom is bright and clean.

Downstairs is a walkout basement with lots of windows and great lake views. There is a second TV with cable service and a DVD player. As is the case with many lakefront cottages, you have to go outside to get downstairs.

With all the trees on this lovely lakefront property, there are nice shady spots to escape to as well.
