The Home at Granby River Homestead

This lovely 1912 heritage home is the perfect combination of old world charm and modern conveniences. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been renovated and are bright and new. The rest of the home has been carefully restored to maintain the
heritage beauty and charm.

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2500 sq. feet of comfortable living space. The home features a wrap around covered deck to enjoy the sun or shade through all times of the day or evening with gorgeous views in all directions.

The living room, dining room, kitchen, reading room, one bathroom and one bedroom are all conveniently located on the main floor.  The upstairs boasts three bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms beautifully decorated for comfort, privacy and relaxation.

indulge in reading that long awaited book.

The yard at Granby River Homestead is immense, perfect for a game of bocce ball, crocket, or any fun summer game!

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The sleeping accommodations are great! The bedrooms and their nearby bathrooms are more like private suites than just a bedroom.

The main floor bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Photos of this bedroom will be available soon.

Upstairs, the owners of Granby River Homestead have named each of the bedrooms with names reflecting the local area.

The Granby Suite is a large bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and lovely furniture. There are four windows to enjoy the beautiful acreage and mountain views.

The bedroom called Southern exposure also has a comfortable
queen size bed and lovely furniture.

This lovely bathroom with sink vanity, toilet, claw foot tub and shower
is shared by guests in the Granby suite and
Southern Exposure.

Granby River Homestead is abundant with recreational opportunities!

In addition to enjoying the pristine Granby River, there is ample opportunity to enjoy the terrific hiking and biking trails as well as the Granby River Golf Club, opened in summer of 2007. The Trans Canada Trail is just minutes from the property as well. This is a nice, low-grade, down hill ride on an old rail bed that runs all the way through Grand Forks where you can stop at the "The Station" for some great eats
or keep riding.

Shuttles can be arranged and we also have bikes available at the Ranch for your use. If you enjoy fishing, several mountain lakes are nearby the ranch, or you can take a short jaunt to fish the Granby River north of Burrell Creek.

Just the ideal spot for your recreational retreat!
